We first laid eyes on each other in December of 2019 when we happened to be at the same Christmas night out but we didn’t talk until four months later. Then came three months of non stop messages, phone and video calls lasting hours as we waited for lockdown restrictions to lift. We had our first in person date on July the 4th and from that day on we have rarely been apart. We moved into our first flat together only six months after our first date because we couldn’t wait any longer. We started to build a life together, got our first cat Franny, picking up trinkets and combining our book collections and kitchen utensils. In April 2024 exactly four years to the day we first started talking, Rachael proposed and I of course said yes. It was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.

Now, here we are, many years and many flats later. We are so excited to celebrate the love and the life we have cultivated together and to start our next chapter as a married couple.
